The story is about a little witch who ventures out on Halloween, only to crash into a tree and lose her flying broom. Children gather fearful and judgmental that all witches are bad. But along comes Sabrina who shows kindness and empathy to the little witch and offers to be her friend. The little witch is overjoyed because she’s never had a friend before. Sabrina teaches the children they should treat others as they would like to be treated, while making a kind gesture of friendship to a frightened misunderstood little witch.

This animated short story reinforces the concept of treating others as you wish to be treated – don’t make assumptions about others – try to understand who they really are and how they might feel.
